I have been overweight for many years. I have tried every diet known to man and nothing really worked. I spent many years trying to get healthy as I had many health issues related to being overweight. My heaviest was 165kg back in 2020 and I was desperate. I went on Ozempic for Type 2 diabetes, and I lost 15 KGS, and for me, that was pretty awesome. I then tried again to lose more weight and was not successful at losing anymore.

In early 2023, I found out that I was going to be a Grandfather and my health was getting worse, I had counselling for emotional eating and decided that I was going to trust Patrick to do the surgery in September 2023.
